A 40-year-old resident of the UK named Gaby Hagler planned to feel the joy of motherhood for the last time, but unexpectedly, instead of one child, she became a mother to four children at once.
In 2021, Briton Gaby Hagler, along with her 50-year-old husband Patrickov, who works as a family therapist, decided to have another child, although they already raised a common son, who was named Sammy by his parents. Each of the partners had one child from previous marriages.
Having made a balanced decision to add to the family, the couple began to carry out their plan and soon saw the cherished two strips on the pregnancy test. For a period of 12 weeks, the expectant mother, undergoing routine screening, found out that she was carrying four babies
The doctors decided to play it safe and immediately reduce the risk of preterm birth, so Gaby underwent a surgical procedure – a cervical cerclage. Physicians put stitches on the reproductive organ of the British woman, as a result of which Hagler gave birth to sons in July at a period of 34 weeks.
The newly minted parents named their sons Adam, Bennet, Kobe and Dane.
The couple noted that they are happy with such a large addition to the family, although sometimes they still experience difficulties in caring for four babies. A British couple calculates that they use 47 diapers and one and a half packs of tissues per day, and their washing machine runs tirelessly, washing at least three large loads of laundry.
The mother herself shared that she sometimes confuses her sons, since you can hardly distinguish two of them, so the mother paints the babies one nail in different colors in order to know where there is someone.
