Quintuplets were born instead of one child: How the parents reacted on this

A married couple from the United States has been coping with the care of five babies at once for a year. The news of the birth of five children for a husband and wife was shocking, but they managed to cope with the excitement. Now they know what it’s like to heat milk forty times a day, wash twenty children’s suits a day, and what a pile of sixty diapers looks like. But in their house it is never boring.

Today, Kentucky couple Briana and Jordan Driskell are the proud parents of five-year-olds. However, three years ago, a husband and wife were desperately trying to have at least one child.
A few years ago, Briana was diagnosed with infertility, but the couple did not give up trying to have children. After the course of treatment, the woman found out that she was pregnant and in a few months not one, but five babies would appear in their family at once.

“2 years. 730 days. That’s how long Jordan and I tried to have a baby. But the day came that we will never forget! During the first ultrasound, the doctor began to look around, then began to count the babies. One, two, three … Four … Five We found out that day that we were expecting FIVE CHILDREN!!”

The news of the five children plunged the couple into a real shock. They could not refuse the opportunity to have children, but they could not imagine how they would raise five at once. But Briana and Jordan managed to pull themselves together. “To call our reaction shock is to underestimate it. We went through prayers, sleepless nights and many tears to understand what a blessing it is.”

The babies were born in May 2017. Three girls – Zoe, Dakota and Hollin. And two boys – Asher and Gavin. All children were born healthy, but they still had to spend some time in the hospital. However, very soon the grown company was already at home. It was then that the most interesting time in the life of parents began.

It turned out that taking care of five babies requires not only time and energy, but also at least forty bottles of milk a day. 0 Source: medialeaks.ru “We feed them every thirty minutes, because as soon as the last child is full, we go back to feeding the first one. The cycle starts again, and it’s a bit like a conveyor belt.” For a whole year now, the couple’s kitchen has been austere, like a hospital operating room.

If you do not prepare several sets of baby dishes in advance, then the risk of leaving someone hungry or simply forgetting which of the children this or that bottle is intended for increases. 0 Source: medialeaks.ru No less impressive are the results of Briana and Jordan’s weekly trips to the supermarket. The woman admitted that sixty diapers are spent on her babies a day, and everyone has to change clothes up to twenty times. “This is absolute madness. But we are never bored.

” For the Driskells, the birth of five children is not only associated with large-scale purchases in the supermarket. For trips with children, the couple purchased a whole van, but for such a large family, it turned out to be small. As soon as they were born, we bought a van. Our car clearly did not fit the size of our family. But even this one is tight. Most often, parents prefer strollers to trips.

To do this, the family has a pair of strollers for twins, as well as a sling – a kind of “pocket” for carrying children. So Briana and Jordan have the opportunity to walk with everyone at once, and even take their two dogs with them. Briana’s mother and a visiting nanny help parents cope with the children, who come to the Driskells every day at six in the morning. Despite the family resemblance and small age, each baby is unique for Briana and Jordan. “Each of them has their own little personality.

And it’s great to watch them develop.” The couple calculated that in less than a year they spent several thousand dollars on food and basic necessities for their little ones. However, the family copes with expenses and even plans to move to a big house when the children grow up. In order to be able to properly care for all the children, Briana adheres to a strict schedule every day.
